I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 20 years off and on, and I have to say my latest experience was the absolute best it's ever been. I don't know what they've changed in the past year since I was here last, but whatever they did, and whatever your past experiences were, I must say they are absolutely a first choice for anything in the Independence/Monmouth area. The service was fast, the meat was fresh, the rice was fluffy, not dried out or chewy. Perfect. The seasonings they used were a perfect compliment to the dish. I've had Mexican dishes at over a hundred restaurants in more than a dozen states, and none has stuck out to me more than my recent experience with Los Dos Amigos. Give it a try.

Love the atmosphere, the food, and the crew are all very friendly. Food was prepared in a timely manner, and all of the crew you could see in the restaurant were consistently busy. You can tell they are very family oriented.

Always great food. I go here with my parents and the staff is always nice and they have quick and friendly service. You get chips, salsa and bean dip while you wait for your food!
